Parkinson’s classes

We teach FREE, specialised strength and balance classes for those with Parkinson’s and their carers at The Doddridge & St James Community Centre.

These sessions feature later life training to allow people to avoid falls, maintain good health and remain independent. All exercises are low impact, seated or standing and cater for every individual’s fitness level.

They also centre on the creation of a community feel around the sessions to further increase people’s wellbeing, with attendees staying behind for a chat and a cup of tea or coffee after each class.

These sessions are held every Monday at 11am for 45 minutes. If you are interested email stepforwardwithlewiscic@gmail.com to book or for more information. Please book in advance as numbers are limited.

We are grateful for the backing of West Northamptonshire Council, Parkinson’s UK, and Northampton Town Council, who have previously supplied grant funding to allow these classes to continue.

Our work depends on fundraising, grant funding and business donations to continue. If you are able to help, please contact stepforwardwithlewis@gmail.com for more details, or donate via the button below. Your generosity helps us to continue supplying all of our classes for FREE.
